I am a licensed professional counselor with over 13 years of experience specializing in both marriage and family counseling for individuals, couples, children, and adolescents. I specialize in working with anxious teens and adults, couples who are struggling to connect with one another, and those dealing with grief and loss. My whole approach to counseling strives to put clients at ease as I partner with them to work through any issues or concerns that they may have. I am a Level-2 Trained Gottman Counselor and use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as the foundation of my therapy framework. My training, experience, and skills enable me to assist my clients in developing their own personalized solutions and improve communication within the family unit. In addition, I offer a number of trainings for parents, youth groups and school staff on a variety of topics ranging from Social Media Awareness, Suicide and Self-Injury, Human Trafficking, Dealing With Anxiety, Avoiding Burnout and more. I am also able to create custom presentations to fit your needs. In my free time I love spending time with my wife, two children and our dog Buddy. I also enjoy playing team sports like lacrosse and ice hockey, snowboarding and going to concerts.
