Jessica Coleman, LAPC

My name is Jess Coleman, I am a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor and have a rich background as a former school counselor and foster parent, allowing me to bring a unique and empathetic perspective to my practice. I hold a TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) certificate and have experience teaching both in South Korea and the United States, providing me a deep understanding of diverse cultural backgrounds. Additionally, I have cultivated a deeper understanding of the neurodivergent experience (Autism/ADHD/Specific learning disabilities/etc.) through my time in the school systems and in outpatient therapy. I have helped clients through life transitions, trauma, anxiety, depression, chronic and terminal illnesses, and addiction.

I draw from a client-centered approach to empower individuals to navigate their own journey. I utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness skills, to help clients uncover their inner resources and find a clear path forward.

I am a strong believer in patient autonomy and trust that you are the expert on your own life. I look forward to working collaboratively with you to reveal your best path forward.
