Hi, I’m Sharon Geiner! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with compassion and clarity. My style is warm, nonjudgmental, and genuine, creating a safe space where you can share openly and work at your own pace. I believe in blending support with education, using a psychoeducational approach to help clients better understand their experiences and gain practical skills for lasting change.

My areas of focus include anxiety and stress management, divorce recovery and rebuilding, mother–daughter relationship issues, and life transitions such as empty nesting, perimenopause, and menopause. I also bring experience working with grief and loss, trauma, narcissistic abuse, and attachment concerns. My therapeutic approach is eclectic and integrative, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Strength-Based and Solution-Focused practices, as well as Meditation and Mindfulness. For couples, I incorporate Gottman Method principles to strengthen connection and communication.

In addition to private practice, I have provided grief and spiritual support in hospice care, have a strong background in social-emotional learning, psychoeducation, and group facilitation, and have also worked within both secondary and higher education systems. This background allows me to integrate therapeutic and educational strategies to support growth, resilience, and meaningful change.

In my personal life, I enjoy spending time and building memories with my family and friends. I love to start my day with a cup of tea, journaling, and meditation. Walking and getting out in nature is a priority for me. I also have a special interest in animal-assisted therapy, working as a team with my certified pup. Volunteering and service have been important parts of my life’s work. I believe that together we do better. So let’s start our journey together today!
